Stratify Sport Approach

Our approach is to work alongside existing teams to complement internal knowledge, co‑create solutions, and foster people development.

Two key methodology underpin our approach:

1. Culture and Team Alignment
We partner with leaders, teams, and stakeholders to shape a Team Charter and a Plan-on-a-Page (POP) that captures shared behaviours and sets a clear direction for delivery, so everyone stays aligned and connected.

2. Flywheel Review Process©
Sports organisations operate as a flywheel of inter‑related functions, where progress in one area builds momentum across the whole system. Our Flywheel Review Process identifies alignment gaps, friction points, and opportunities to accelerate collective performance.

1. Culture and Team Alignment

Creating a Charter and a Plan‑on‑a‑Page (POP) gives the team a shared foundation for how they work and what they’re trying to achieve. It brings people together to set a clear direction for delivery.

The Team Charter is shaped through practical workshops where the group agrees its purpose, roles, decision rights, and ways of working. The POP then turns this into a simple 1-page visual that captures priorities, outcomes, milestones, and what success looks like.

Together, these tools help unify the team, aligning effort, speeding up decisions, reducing duplication, and keeping everyone focused on the work that matters. The POP can then become a communication to share across the organisation and with external partners and vendors so people stay connected to the plan.

A light review every 4–6 months keeps things current and ensures internal and external stakeholders stay aligned.

2. Flywheel of a Sporting Organisation

Stratify Sport’s Flywheel Review Process© provides a structured way for sports organisations to align strategy, operations, and people around a single, connected system. A flywheel approach moves organisations beyond siloed units and into a model where functions reinforce one another, creating momentum.

The process begins with a system‑level diagnosis that assesses how well each function connects to the others, identifying duplication, unclear ownership, misaligned objectives, and other points where the flywheel loses speed. Leadership then sets a small number of system‑level priorities, focusing on the decisions, investments, and behaviours that will generate the greatest organisation‑wide impact. This reduces initiative overload, clarifies trade‑offs, and concentrates effort where it unlocks the most momentum.

We then integrate strategy with operating models, data, governance, and shared services so functions actively reinforce each other. Clear accountabilities, shared objectives, decision rights, and leadership expectations translate strategy into everyday execution. Throughout, the approach builds collaboration and shared ownership across teams. The result is a disciplined but adaptable system that accelerates decision‑making, strengthens delivery confidence, and helps organisations move from intention to action as the flywheel gains momentum over time.
